The Bulldog teams combined to win a total of 45 matches during the three-day tourney. Asheville captured six different flights throughout the tournament.
"I was very pleased with our results this weekend at Brevard," stated Bulldog coach Lise Gregory. "We had some good results against some very strong competition.
"What was really nice was that we got to play a lot of matches this weekend," added Gregory. "We also got a feel of what we need to work over the next few months."
Freshman Adrien Langeard won the A flight men's singles, while Ryan Matthews won the C flight men's singles. Thomas Rees and Langeard won the B flight doubles.
On the women's side, Devon Cavanaugh and Leslie Smith won the A flight in doubles.
Jackie McGuirk won the D flight in singles. Newcomer Britney Cloer was runner-up in the B flight. Louise Bottomley and Sarah Brinkley were slated to meet in the final of the C flight.
Both teams will participate in the East Tennessee Fall Invitational this weekend in Johnson City.
