Indoor Track and Field Teams Ready for Big South Meet

Both Bulldogs teams are looking for improvements from last year's results. The men's team captured 14 points and finished in seventh place, while the women's team came in eighth place with 11 points.
“We're looking to do much better than we did last year,” commented UNC Asheville coach Jesse Norman. “I like the way our teams have improved throughout, and hopefully we'll peak this weekend.”

On the men's side, freshman distance runners Sam Maynard and Kent Rankin have posted solid results all year and hopefully that will continue at Clemson.
Daniel Corriher and Keith Scruggs have been improving each week in the shot put and hammer throw and both should make a run at the top in both events this weekend.
