Men's Tennis to Play Pair of Matches in Tennessee

ASHEVILLE, N.C. ?? The UNC Asheville men's tennis team travels to Tennessee this weekend for a pair of matches.
UNC Asheville is looking to rebound from two losses last weekend. On Feb. 14, the Bulldogs were defeated 4-3 by Lees-McRae in Banner Elk, N.C. UNC Asheville was swept 7-0 by UNC Greensboro the following day.
On Saturday, the Bulldogs (1-6) will take on UT Martin (1-1) in Crossville, Tenn. The Skyhawks were picked to finish fourth in the Ohio Valley Conference in the OVC preseason tennis poll.
The Bulldogs will head to Nashville for a match against Belmont (2-3) on Sunday. Two of the Bruins three losses have come at the hands of teams in the top 40 of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings. Belmont fell 5-2 to No. 1 Virginia in Charlottesville, Va. in its season opener. Last week, the Bruins suffered a 7-0 defeat at No. 38 Louisville.
