Montgomery Makes All-Tournament Team at JMU

HARRISONBURG, VA. - UNC Asheville junior forward Lindsey Montgomery made the James Madison Holiday Invitational All-Tournament team. Montgomery made the six-person team at the conclusion of the tournament that was won by the home team, James Madison.
Montgomery had two excellent games and helped get the Bulldogs a split in the tourney. She scored nine points and collected 12 points in Asheville's 64-53 loss to Western Michigan on Tuesday. Montgomery then had a double-double against Lafayette on Wednesday night as she scored 14 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs to a 50-43 win over the Leopards.
The Shelby native leads Asheville in scoring with an 11.9 average and is tops in rebounding with a 10.3 mark.
The Bulldogs play again this Saturday at home against Coastal Carolina at Justice Center starting at 2 p.m.
