ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville men's and women's tennis programs will dedicate their new home with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Tennis Center Friday afternoon at 12:30 p.m.

Both Bulldog teams will play and practice at the Crowne Plaza. In addition, UNC Asheville students will be able to use the facility as well with valid ID. The Tennis Center features four indoor courts, seven composition courts and six hard courts.  The six hard courts will be the "Home of the Bulldogs."

There will be cake and soft drinks for everyone who attends. Each team will be present and the women's team will practice afterwards at 1 p.m. Fans are invited to stay and watch the team practice.

The Crowne Plaza is holding an exhibition match between former professionals Tim Wilkison and Lawson Duncan beginning at 5:30 p.m.  The event is free and open to the public.
