She led all Bulldogs with 18 points giving her career-highs in points in consecutive games.

Shari Buford averages 12.2 points and Mandy Mendenhall is scoring 11.2 points per game. The Eagles recently dropped out of the WBCA Division II top 25 but still received nine votes in the poll. Carson-Newman is 6-0 at home but just 1-2 on the road so far this season.
Carson-Newman leads the all-time series 3-0 against UNC Asheville although none of the players that will play had been born the last time these two schools played in 1982. The series ran from 1980-82 with the Eagles winning all three games by an average of 8.6 points. Both teams were members of the NAIA at that time.
