NASHVILLE, TENN. - The UNC Asheville men's soccer men fell to Lipscomb 3-1 on Sunday afternoon at the Lipscomb Soccer Complex in the fourth game of the Hyatt Place Select Invitational.

The game was scoreless after the first half, but freshman forward Garret Pettis put Lipscomb on the board after scoring on a rebound off of the post at the 56:32 mark.

Asheville senior midfielder Alex Morrow leveled the score at the 80:12 mark on a volley serviced by senior defender Nathan Neal.

Just 42 seconds after Morrow's goal, the Bison went ahead 2-1 on a goal from freshman forward Andrew Chamberlain.

The Bison scored the match's final goal at the 86:55 mark when sophomore midfielder Miguel DaSilva slotted the ball from the right side of the penalty area past Asheville freshman goalkeeper Lassi Hurskainen.

The Bison outshot the Bulldogs 29-19 and had six corner kicks to the Bulldogs' zero.

The victory moves Lipscomb to 3-4-0 on the season, while UNC Asheville falls to 2-3-1.

Following the match, UNC Asheville's Bryan George, Patrick Tate, and Alex Morrow were named to the All-Tournament team. 

Rounding out the All-Tournament team were Garrett Pettis, Kezi Lara, Miguel DaSliva, and Andrew Chamberlain from Lipscomb, Brett Parker and Will Moorad from Belmont, and Chris Broph and Stevenson Gravlee from Presbyterian.

UNC Asheville will return to action at home on Sept. 27 against the Kentucky Wildcats.
