Nicholas Thuell Named Alternate to Bermuda Davis Cup Team

Recently graduated UNC Asheville tennis player Nicholas Thuell has been selected by the Bermuda Lawn and Tennis Association as an alternate to the 2008 Bermuda Davis Cup Team.
The
Thuell was asked to try out by the Bermuda Lawn and Tennis Association after he graduated in May. He spent a week in May trying out for the team and found out in late June that he had earned the first alternate spot on the
The Davis Cup is the international tennis tournament, where countries are grouped together both by geographical region, and tennis standards. The
Thuell was a four-year letterman for the UNC Asheville tennis program. He played both singles and doubles for the Bulldogs and was a member of the Big South All-Academic team for men's tennis his junior and senior year. Thuell graduated in May with a degree in Economics.
