Coastal Slips Past Asheville in Men?s Tennis

ASHEVILLE, N.C.? Coastal Carolina narrowly got past UNC Asheville 4-3 in men's tennis action on Friday afternoon.
The doubles' point won by Coastal (8-11, 2-3 Big South) was the deciding factor as the two teams went 3-3 through the singles competition.
Mauricio Correa earned a 7-6, 6-3 victory at number one single for Asheville (1-9, 0-2 Big South). Damien Snare was a 7-6, 3-6, 6-3 winner at number four over CCU's Plamen Tzvetkov and Nathan White was a 7-6, 3-6, 7-6 winner over CCU's John Hairston.
Coastal took wins at number one and two in doubles to earn the deciding point.
The Bulldogs men will face Winthrop on Sunday in a 1 p.m. match.
