Baseball to Host Inaugural Golf Tournament on Oct. 19.

The UNC Asheville baseball program will host its first ever golf tournament on October 19, 2007 at the Reems Creek Golf Course.

Baseball supporters and alumni are encouraged to join head coach Willie Stewart, assistant coaches Tim Perry and Bob Fenn along with players for an afternoon of golf and fun to benefit the UNC Asheville baseball program.

Registration begins at Noon with tee-off at 1:30 p.m. All golfers will receive one free mulligan, a put string, a gift bag, and dinner, along with the chance to win raffle items throughout the day.

The Cost of the event is $100 per person or $400 per team. Space is limited to the first 130 paid entries. For more information, contact Coach Stewart at 828-251-6920 or by email at wstewart@unca.edu.
