ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville Baseball team will be at home Tuesday afternoon when the Bulldogs host Gardner-Webb at Greenwood Field starting at 3 p.m.
The game with the Gardner-Webb Bulldogs will be the only meeting between the teams this year. The teams were scheduled to play in Boiling Springs last week but that game was cancelled due to rain.
UNC Asheville is 16-23 overall on the season, pending a league game at High Point this afternoon. The Bulldogs have a very busy week as they'll play at Tennessee Wednesday night and then host VMI in a crucial three-game Big South Conference series this weekend at McCormick Field.
The teams split last season as Asheville edged GWU, 5-4 at Greenwood Field. Gardner-Webb won the rematch later in the season at home, 16-7.
