Rain Washes Away Battle of Bulldogs - UNC Asheville Bulldogs Official Athletics Site

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - Heavy rains in Western North Carolina this morning have canceled Wednesday's baseball game between UNC Asheville and Gardner-Webb, scheduled for 3 p.m.

The two teams will play at Greenwood Field in Asheville next Tuesday, April 25 at 3 p.m. That will be the only meeting of the season between the two teams.

Asheville travels to High Point this weekend for a key Big South series. Friday's first game is scheduled for 3 p.m. while Saturday and Sunday's games are set for 1 p.m. All three games can be heard live on line at uncabulldogs.com.

Gardner-Webb will travel to Mercer this weekend for a three-game Atlantic Sun series.
