ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville women's tennis team finished its fall season with a 4-3 victory over Appalachian State at the UNCA tennis courts Saturday afternoon.
After ASU took the doubles point 2-1, Natasha Lucki, Lindsay Boykin, Morgan Martin, and Whitney Abbott all recorded straight-set victories. Lucki's 6-4, 6-3 victory at number 1 won the match for the Bulldogs but it was UNCA's strength at the bottom of the line-up that made the victory possible. The Bulldogs took wins at numbers four, five, and six with the Mountaineers wins coming from Salem Kirven and Victoria Moody at numbers two and three.
