Today we transitioned from the rainforest (San Carlos) to the beach. Along the way we stopped at SkyTrek and did zip lining in the heart of Costa Rica's Rainforest. This was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Words can't describe the adrenaline of zip lining above and through the forest, being 700ft from the ground. The view of a Volcano besides a huge lake while zip lining about 50 miles per hour gave this adventure an incredible advantage over any other activity I have done before. This activity had not only an physical impact on our bodies, but also affected us spiritually. Many of us were scared of heights and thought we wouldn't be able to face our fears. However, having our teammates supporting and encouraging us helped most individuals to overcome such fear. At the end of the zip line, we were fed with a delicious meal in a restaurant on the edge of a mountain, giving us another incredible view while eating lunch. After eating, we got in the bus and headed to the beach. The hotel in which we are staying is a beachfront hotel with a pool that is literally 10 yards from the beach. After putting our stuff in the room, we went for a team workout at the beach, getting into the water after the session.

We checked out from the hotel around 7 a.m. We made another transfer from San Carlos ( Arenal Paraiso Hotel) to the beach (Flamingo Hotel). During our transition, we stopped to zip line somewhere in the rainforest. I was terrified at the beginning but after the practice it started to get more fun. This was one of the greatest experiences ever. Doing things like this with the teammates increases the bonding among us. Zip lining above 700ft from the ground caused the adrenaline in me to jump up and get me very hyped to get it started. I have never done anything that exciting like zip lining in the rainforest, going about 50 miles in the air. With this being above 700ft, some people were scared of heights and decided not to participate in this interesting activity. At end of the zip line, the team were fed with some delicious meals (hamburgers with fries, fajitas with chicken and pasta). The team continued to enjoy the delicious meal in Costa Rica. We got on the bus to get to our destination after the meal. We were welcome into the hotel with a very warm gesture. The hotel people were very nice. We ran on the beach later just to cool down our legs. The team got together around 7 p.m to have dinner. This trip has been one of the greatest ever because most of the things here remind me of Ghana and it feels like I am home.
