Kaitlin Resch joined the UNC Asheville Sports Medicine staff in June 2025.Â
Prior to her start in Asheville, Resch was an assistant athletic trainer at Spartanburg Methodist College where she worked with men's basketball as well as both indoor and beach volleyball during the 2024-25 year. The position was a rehabilitation-based clinical and didactic residency through Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System.
Resch has a variety of experiences from her time as a student at University of Wisconsin La Crosse, serving as a student trainer for several sports as well as local clinics and high schools.Â
She holds a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Wisconsin La Crosse (2024) and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science from Wisconsin La Crosse (2021).Â
