Jenae Fedewa joined the UNC Asheville Athletics staff in August 2025 as the Assistant Director of Eligiblity and Compliance.Â
Fedewa comes to Asheville from UNC Charlotte where she worked as a conference assistant this past summer. Prior to Charlotte, she was a graduate assistant in the compliance department at fellow Big South Conference institution USC Upstate.Â
In addition to her work in compliance, Fedewa spent her summers coaching youth softball. Fedewa played college softball at Division II Coker University, where she was named a 2022-23 NFCA/Easton Academic All-American. Prior to Coker, she played at Seminole State College and was named to the NJCAA All-Academic Team.Â
She holds a bachelor's degree from Coker in Business Administration (2023), and graduated from the University of South Carolina in May 2025 with a master's degree in Sport and Entertainment Management.Â
