2025-26 will be the fourth season serving as General Manager of UNC Asheville Sports Properties for Dan Dial. In this capacity, Dial is responsible for the day to day oversight of the corporate partnerships department for Bulldog Athletics. He works directly with sponsors to create and execute partnerships that generate brand awareness and affinity with fans and students.Â
Throughout his tenure in Asheville, Dial has led the corporate partnerships department to multiple record-breaking years of revenue generation and partner retention. In addition to his responsibilities overseeing corporate sponsorships, he also serves in various other capacities in the UNC Asheville Athletics department.Â

Prior to his time at UNC Asheville, Dial served as Associate Athletic Director for External Relations for Murray State University, Team President of the River City Rascals minor league baseball team, as well as Team President of the NBA G-League College Park Skyhawks. His early career also includes stops with the Texas Legends and Memphis Grizzlies as an account executive. Dial received his bachelor's degree in sports management from Southeast Missouri State University.

As UNC Asheville Sports Properties' general manager, Dial serves as the primary LEARFIELDÂ liaison related to UNC Asheville's comprehensive multimedia rights agreement and corporate partner platform. He works closely with Director of Athletics Janet R. Cone and the entire athletics administration in the management of the overall rights relationship.
