Overview: Has enjoyed an excellent career with the Bulldog program and looking to bounce back from a knee injury that had her miss part of the 2008 season…hard worker who should be 100 percent for her senior season…was a 2007 Big South Preseason All-Conference member…quick and athletic middle blocker…should compete for all-conference honors in 2009…one of five seniors on this year’s club…one of three players from nearby prep power West Henderson HS in Hendersonville…has a chance to move into UNC Asheville’s career top 10 for total blocks, block assists, block solos and kills this season.
2008: Off to an excellent start before injuring her knee midway through the year at Winthrop (10-4)…managed to play in final five matches of the season in limited role…led Bulldogs with 20 kills and hit .385 against Maine (8-30)…opened the season in great fashion with 12 kills and no errors vs. Elon (8-29)…posted 16 kills and eight digs in victory over WCU (9-16)…had great match vs. High Point (9-26) with 19 kills and hit .417…had 14 kills in victory over N.C. State (9-13)…had career-high four service aces in near upset of William & Mary (9-12)…posted six matches where she hit .400 or above…named to all-tournament team at USC Upstate.
2007: Led Bulldogs in attack percentage at .261 and was tied for the team lead in total blocks at 113...played in all 34 matches and was one of two players to play all 124 games...notched a career-high 21 kills against Jacksonville on Sept. 23...set a school record for highest attacke percentage hitting .688 (12-1-16) against Southern University on Sept. 15...had 15 double figure kill matches including six of final eight matches to end the regular season...accounted for season-high 24.5 points at East Tennessee State on Sept. 19...season-high 11 digs at Presbyterian on Sept. 22...recorded career-best eight total blocks twice at ETSU (3-5) on Sept. 19, and at USC Upstate (0-8) on Nov. 8...had nine matches where she hit over .400.
2006: Second on the team and fifth in the Big South hitting .215...had a season-high 17 digs in three matches, vs. Rutgers on Aug. 25, vs. Duquesne on Aug. 26, and vs. Gardner-Webb on Nov. 7...posted first career double-double adding a season-high 16 digs in Duquesne match...11 double-figure kill matches including 14 kills, three errors, on 22 attacks (.500) vs. Montreat, Oct. 24...had five matches where she hit over .400...season-high seven blocks vs. UNC Greensboro on Sept. 2...played in 125 of 126 games as a freshman averaging 2.20 kills and 0.66 blocks per game...second on the team with 82 blocks...Big South Freshman of the Week for the week of Nov. 13.
Before UNC Asheville: Member of the West Henderson program that had a 110-2 record during her four years, winning two state 2A titles and finishing runner-up a third year under head coach Jan Stanley...2005 all-conference, Times News All-Area, and 1st-team All-Western North Carolina performer...played for Biltmore Volleyball Club which was the 2004 USAV regional runner-up and 2005 AAU National High Performance Champion...was 2006 MAAC Major Sports Female of the Year finalist...was also a three-year letterwinner in soccer and swimming.
