Overview: Three-sport athlete at UNC Asheville as she enjoyed a great volleyball career as one of the top middle blockers in the Big South…excelled as a high jumper for the Blue & White in both indoor and outdoor…battled injuries her senior season but still managed to win the Big South Championship in the high jump during indoor…finishes her career as the school’s all-time leader in the high jump for both indoor and outdoor.
2014 Outdoor: Set a school record in the high jump at 49er Classic with leap of 1.70 meters (3-20) as she finished in third place in strong field…earned a podium finish with third-place mark at Big South Championships as she leaped 1.65 meters (4-18)…came in second place at Winthrop (3-28) with mark of 1.60 meters…won Liberty Twilight meet after regular season (5-1) with mark of 1.65 meters
2013-14 Indoor: Claimed the Big South Conference championships (3-1) in the high jump with leap of 1.70 meters…battled injuries the indoor season and only competed in one other meet and that came at UCS Invitational (2-15) where she placed fourth with leap of 1.65 meters.
2013 Outdoor: Took second at Big South Conference championships with jump of 1.63 meters (4-19)…won at Western Carolina against tough field with mark of 1.62 meters (3-23)…also had jump of 1.63 meters at Duke Invitational (4-6) and came in sixth place…finished fourth at 49er Classic (3-15) at 1.60 meters.
2012-13 Indoor: Began the season in impressive fashion with a jump of 1.67 meters and good enough to finish in first place at ASU Open (12-1)…took second at Big South Championships (2-22) with mark of 1.65 meters…also had jump of 1.65 meters at Clemson (2-9) and second-place finish…came in fourth at Niswonger Invitational (1-19) with mark of 1.63 meters.
2012 Outdoor: Won at Western Carolina (3-24) with leap of 1.65 meters…also had a mark of 1.65 meters at Big South Conference Championships (4-20) and fourth-place finish…came in fourth at 49er Classic (3-16), also at 1.65 meters…took sixth at Duke (4-7) with mark of 1.63 meters.
2011-12 Indoor: Took fifth at Big South Championships with season-best 1.65 meters (2-25)…had a jump of 1.60 meters at JDL Fast Track (2-11) and fourth-place finish…came in sixth at UNC (1-14) with mark of 1.60 meters…placed fifth at Niswonger Invitational (1-28) with jump of 1.58 meters.
2011 Outdoor: As a freshman, she finished in third place at Palmetto Classic with leap of 1.54 meters (3-11) in her first ever outdoor meet…season-best of 1.55 meters came at Duke (4-9) and Big South Championships (4-9)…finished 10th at Big South meet…had mark of 1.50 meters at 49er Classic (3-17).
2010-11 Indoor: Generated season-best mark of 1.53 meters in two meets…the first came at ASU Open (1-15) and the second came at Big South Championships (2-24) where she placed 10th…also had mark of 1.52 meters at Appalachian Invitational (12-4) and came in ninth.
Before UNC Asheville: Outstanding prep career in both volleyball and track and field at West Henderson HS in Hendersonville… state high jump champion her junior year...regional champion in the long jump as a sophomore and junior.
