2022 Season (Senior) - Edwards competed in three races for Asheville in 2022...Finished just outside the top 20 (22nd) at the Winthrop Invitational in mid-September...His top time of 2022 came at the Upstate Invitational in mid-October where he finished an 8K race in 26:28.1...Edwards also ran for the Bulldogs at the Big South Cross Country Championships where he placed 60th with a time of 28:06.6.
2021 Season (Junior) - During the fall of 2021, Edwards competed in a pair of races for Asheville...Made his season debut at the USC Upstate Invitational in mid-October...Capped his season by running at the Big South Cross Country Championships...At the Championships, Edwards placed 50th in the field with a time of 27:26.6 in the 8K race...Additionally, at the Championships Edwards was named to the Big South's All-Academic team for the second consecutive season.
2021 Spring Season (Sophomore) - In his second season with the Bulldogs, Edwards competed in all three races that Asheville did during the unique spring 2021 season...Top outing in terms of a finish came at the Highlander Invitational where he finished the 7.4K course in 26:10.2...Edwards finished off his sophomore campaign at the Big South Cross Country Championships and turned in a strong showing...In a field made up solely of Big South runners, Edwards placed 39th and set a new personal-best in an 8K race with a time of 26:26.2...Following the season, Edwards was named to the Big South All-Academic team for his work as a student.
2019 Season (Freshman) - Edwards competed in six different cross country races as a freshman in 2019...He made his debut as a Bulldogs on August 30, 2019 at the Covered Bridge Cross Country Open...In his first collegiate race, Edwards placed 50th with a time of 27:50.3...His top finish as a freshman came on September 14 at the Montreat-UNCA Dual where he placed 17th...Edwards capped his first season in Asheville by running at the Big South Cross Country Championships and the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships...In his first Big South meet, Edwards placed 67th with a time of 29:10.0...In the 10K race at the Southeast Regional Championships, Edwards logged a time of 36:25.2.
