UNC Asheville Athletics Announces Lineup for Bulldog Block Party on Oct. 16

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville Athletics, in partnership with Ingles, is excited to welcome Bulldog fans and the Asheville community to the Bulldog Block Party on Friday, Oct. 16, at Reed Plaza on the UNC Asheville campus.
The free community event will feature live music, food, games, giveaways and an opportunity for fans to meet the UNC Asheville men's and women's basketball teams ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Festivities will begin in the afternoon, with live music starting at 5 p.m. The evening's musical lineup will feature opener Commodore Fox, followed by concert headliners Joe Lasher & Kaitlyn Baker.
In addition to live music, the Bulldog Block Party will include a variety of activities for fans of all ages, including a mechanical bull, branded cowboy hat giveaway, dog costume contest, games and plenty of Bulldog fun.
Fans will also have the opportunity to meet members of the UNC Asheville men's and women's basketball programs as excitement builds toward the upcoming season.
Food will be available from Bear's Smokehouse BBQ and The Hop Ice Cream.
Held in conjunction with UNC Asheville's Family Weekend festivities, the Bulldog Block Party will bring campus and community together for an evening of music, food, fun and Bulldog spirit. The event is free and open to the public, and fans of all ages are encouraged to attend.
