A Win for the Community: Supporting Youth Through Bulldog Basketball

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville Athletics is launching a new community partners ticket program that allows fans to make a direct impact while supporting Bulldog basketball. Each season, the department receives a high volume of requests for complimentary tickets to men's and women's basketball games from schools, nonprofits, and youth organizations serving our region. While the athletic department is proud of this demand, the need often exceeds what the department can sustainably provide.
This new program allows fans, alumni, and community members to purchase tickets that are specifically designated for local underserved youth groups. These tickets will then be distributed to partner organizations, giving young fans the chance to experience UNC Asheville basketball in person—often for the first time.
By participating, supporters help ensure that more children and families can enjoy the excitement of game day while also helping the athletics department fund and manage the growing number of ticket requests each game receives. It's a win for the community, a win for our student-athletes, and a meaningful way to invest in access, opportunity, and the future of Bulldog basketball.
