UNC Asheville Athletics Hosts Beyond The Finish Line Sponsored by Gratz Park Private Wealth

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville Athletics Department hosted the first-ever Beyond the Finish Line event on Tuesday (Sept. 23). The event was sponsored by Gratz Park Private Wealth.
The event welcomed female student-athletes and women community leaders to discuss careers that are traditionally underrepresented by women, encouraging participants to explore these fields.
The evening commenced with a panel discussion moderated by Laura Webb, founder of Webb Investment Services, Inc. Student-athletes then rotated through various table sessions to learn from women community leaders about their diverse career journeys.
"Beyond the Finish Line was a truly inspiring evening that reflects the very best of what UNC Asheville Athletics stands for," said Director of Athletics Janet R. Cone. "To see our female student-athletes engaging with accomplished women leaders, asking thoughtful questions, and envisioning their own futures was remarkable. This event not only highlighted career paths where women are still underrepresented, but it also reinforced the power of mentorship, community, and support.
