Big South Baseball Championship Coming to Asheville in 2026 and 2027

FULL BIG SOUTH CONFERENCE RELEASE
 
ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The Big South Conference announced today (Thursday, Sept. 18) that the league's baseball championships will be coming to Asheville and historic McCormick Field in 2026 and 2027, hosted by Explore Asheville.
 
The 2026 championship tournament is set for May 20-23. This will be the first time since 2009 that the Big South Conference Baseball Championship will be hosted in Asheville.
 
"It's a great honor for the city of Asheville to welcome back the Big South Conference Baseball Championships," said Director of Athletics Janet R. Cone. "This event will provide plenty of tourism to our local economy and will be a valuable asset to be able to showcase downtown Asheville."
