Men's Soccer Releases 2025 Schedule

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Men's Soccer has released its 2025 schedule today (Friday, June 20) for the program's first season under head coach Danny Frid.

The Bulldogs host three home exhibition matches at Greenwood Field with Davidson on Aug. 9, Duke on Aug. 12 and Emmanuel (Ga.) on Aug. 16.

The regular season begins on Aug. 21 with the Bulldogs hosting Howard, before welcoming Georgia State on Aug. 26. After the first road match of the season at Queens (N.C.) on Aug. 31, September begins with a match at home against Bellarmine on Sept. 6. The Bulldogs then swing road trips to Wofford (Sept. 9) and East Tennessee State (Sept. 16), before opening conference play at USC Upstate on Sept. 20 for the latest installation of the Ingles I-26 Rivalry. The Bulldogs then return home for a three-match homestand welcoming Atlantic Coast Conference opponent California on Sept. 23, before hosting Radford on Sept. 27 and High Point on Oct. 4. After a trip to Longwood on Oct. 12, the Bulldogs return home to host Presbyterian on Oct. 18 and Furman on Oct. 21. After a trip to Winthrop on Oct. 25, the Bulldogs return home for the final match of the regular season against Gardner-Webb on Nov. 1.

"I'm really excited for our schedule this fall," said Frid. "The Big South Conference is proving to be more and more challenging every year. The Big South, combined with the caliber of teams we are playing in our non-conference, makes for an unbelievable experience and test for our student-athletes. We would love to see as many people from our Asheville community as possible for these big games! We cannot wait to get to work."

The Bulldogs kick up their preseason against Davidson on Saturday, Aug. 9. Kickoff is set for 2:00 p.m. from Greenwood Field.
