Men's Soccer Earns 2023-24 United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - UNC Asheville Men's Soccer has earned the 2023-24 United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award, announced by the organization today (Thursday, Aug. 1).
Â
To earn the award, a program must post and maintain a team grade point average of at least 3.0 for the academic year. UNC Asheville was one of 168 men's college programs to earn the award, while also being one of 102 schools to have both the men's and women's teams earn the award this year. UNC Asheville has earned the award for the ninth straight year, and the for the 10th time in program history. Asheville Men's Soccer posted a 3.3 grade point average during the Fall 2023 semester, and a 3.45 team GPA during the Spring 2024 semester to finish with a 3.39 team GPA for the year.

In addition, the Bulldogs also landed 24 players on the 2023-24 Big South Conference Presidential Honor Roll, had four named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District and Brendan Herb also was named a College Sports Communicators First Team Academic All-America selection.
