Men's and Women's Tennis Programs Earn Academic Honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association

FULL INTERCOLLEGIATE TENNIS ASSOCIATION WOMEN'S RELEASE

TEMPE, Ariz. - The UNC Asheville Men's and Women's Tennis programs earned both team and individual academic honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), announced by the organization today (Monday, July 22). Both teams earned ITA All-Academic Team honors, while the programs combined for 11 ITA Scholar-Athletes.

To qualify for All-Academic Team status, a team must post a grade point average of at least 3.2.

Both teams earned ITA All-Academic Team honors, with the women earning the award for the 17^th straight year and the men for the fourth straight year and 11^th year overall.

To qualify for Scholar-Athlete status, a student-athlete must post a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the academic year.

The following student-athletes earned Scholar-Athlete honors for 2023-24:
