Bulldogs Record Best Department GPA in Athletics History

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville athletics department demonstrated great success in the classroom during the 2023-24 academic year, as the Bulldogs finished the year with a 3.30 GPA, the highest department GPA in history. 

SPRING 2024 REPORT

The Bulldogs had 279 student-athletes enrolled in the 2024 spring semester and posted a 3.285 semester GPA. Of the 279 student-athletes, 207 had a 3.00 or higher, 102 made the Dean's List, and 49 made the Chancellor's List. Asheville had 57 student-athletes graduate during the spring commencement ceremony, with 10 set to graduate in August. 

Women's golf had the highest GPA on the women's side at 3.693, and men's tennis had the highest GPA on the men's side at 3.478.

FALL 2023 REPORT 

The athletics department started the school year out on a high foot as the Bulldogs posted a 3.32 fall GPA. Women's swimming and diving led the women's side in the fall with a 3.662 GPA, with men's tennis leading the way with a 3.521.
