Logan Wiggenhorn Announced as UNC Asheville's New Director of Live Productions

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Logan Wiggenhorn has been announced as UNC Asheville's new Director of Live Productions, announced today (Monday, Dec. 16) by the athletic department.
"I am extremely excited to add Logan to our staff," said Assistant Athletic Director for Digital and Creative Branding Dani Nicosia. "He brings a lot of knowledge and experience in an array of areas that I believe will help us continue to enhance our digital footprint here at Asheville. I am a big fan of Logan's storytelling ability and cannot wait to begin implementing it into our broadcasts and feature pieces."
Wiggenhorn comes to Asheville from Southeast Missouri State where he was the Broadcast and Video Production Coordinator. At SEMO he served as the ESPN+ coordinator for eight Division I athletic programs while also helping grow the department's student worker staff. Prior to SEMO he was the Director of Live Productions at Division II Lenoir-Rhyne University while also working on a graduate degree. He served as the coordinator for FloSports broadcasts for all of Lenoir-Rhyne's athletic programs and also played a pivotal role in LR's "Beyond the Bears" feature series. While at LR he also served as a live production intern with UFC where he worked with production as well as content creation.
"I am excited to join the UNC Asheville team," said Wiggenhorn. "I look forward to showcasing the stories and journeys of the programs and student-athletes."
Wiggenhorn holds a Master of Arts in Leadership from Lenoir-Rhyne, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Digital Media from Wittenberg University, where he was a four-year member of the baseball team.
