Rose Soto Named Assistant Athletic Director for Business and Finance Operations

ASHEVILLE, N.C. -Â Rose Soto has been named UNC Asheville's new Assistant Athletic Director for Budget and Finance Operations, announced today (Friday, Dec. 13) by Director of Athletics Janet R. Cone.
"I am excited to welcome Rose to the Bulldog staff," said Cone. "Her years of working in the corporate world will bring a fresh mindset to this position."
Soto brings six years of experience in public accounting as an external auditor, where she worked with a variety of industries. She also spent three years as an internal auditor at a public company, gaining insights into corporate operations and risk management.
"I'm grateful to begin my new role with UNC Asheville Athletics!" said Soto. "I look forward to applying my skills, collaborating with driven colleagues, and contributing to the vibrant community on this beautiful campus. A special thank you to AD Janet Cone for this incredible opportunity."
Soto holds a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting and Finance from Marian University.  Â
