Grace Adams Named Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week

FULL ATLANTIC SUN CONFERENCE RELEASE
ATLANTA, Ga. - UNC Asheville junior swimmer Grace Adams has been named the Atlantic Sun Conference's Women's Swimmer of the Week, announced by the league today (Tuesday, Jan. 9).
Adams picked up two individual wins in Asheville's 143-60 ASUN dual meet victory at Gardner-Webb on Jan. 6, winning the 1000-yard freestyle in 10:53.42 and the 200-yard backstroke in 2:09.37.
"Grace has been putting in some strong yardage during winter training and her hard work paid off over the weekend," said Head Coach Elizabeth Lykins. "Her success in the 1000 free and 200 back helped boost the team in both morale and points."
This is Adams's first career Swimmer of the Week honor. The Brooklyn, N.Y. native is a political science major.
