UNC Asheville Athletics Extends Monumental Partnership with Ingles Markets

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Athletics has extended its monumental partnership with Ingles Markets, now the official grocer, pharmacy, and gas express of UNC Asheville Athletics.
"We are thrilled to continue and expand this very rewarding partnership with Ingles," said Director of Athletics Janet R. Cone. "The support from Melissa Leavell and their team means so much to Bulldog Athletics, and we look forward to continuing to work together to make a positive impact on our community."
Asheville fans can expect to see enhanced branding in athletic venues, and across Bulldog social media platforms. Ingles is also an extensive partner of Asheville Athletics within the local community, donating three dollars to Woodfin Elementary School for every three-pointer made by Asheville Men's and Women's Basketball and one dollar for every strikeout recorded by Asheville Baseball as a part of the Strike Out Hunger program. Admission to all Asheville baseball games is also free, courtesy of Ingles.

In addition, Ingles will be the title sponsor of the new annual I-26 Rivalry between UNC Asheville and USC Upstate. The rivalry will encompass all sports sponsored by both schools and focus on athletic and academic achievement, as well as community engagement in both Asheville and Spartanburg. Additional information about the I-26 Rivalry will be forthcoming in a separate release.
