Basketball Season Tickets Go On Sale Beginning TODAY

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville Athletics announced Monday its new partnership with TicketReturn for the next three years. TicketReturn will serve as the department's exclusive provider of industry-leading box office, online and mobile ticketing technologies.

The partnership with TicketReturn will enhance Bulldog fans' ticket-buying experience beginning with the 2023-24 basketball season. TicketReturn will also serve as the ticketing platform for related UNC Asheville university events including those held in Kimmel Arena.

Coming off a record-setting 2022-23 season for UNC Asheville men's basketball, along with sustained success across both men's and women's programs, there is a tremendous sense of anticipation for the upcoming 2023-24 season.

Buoyed by the return of Big South Conference Preseason Player of the Year, Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and Tournament Most Valuable Player Drew Pember along with a new five-year contract extension for head coach Mike Morrell, the Bulldogs will return four starters from last year's team which set a school record for victories.

On the women's side, Coach Honey Brown will enter 2023-24 with a core group of veterans. Asheville returns one All-Conference selection in leading scorer and rebounder McKinley Brooks-Sumpter (13.1 PPG, 6.6 RPG) along with three key contributors in Faith Adams, Jamaya Blanks and Abigail Wilson.

Large crowds returned to Kimmel Arena last season with just under 30,000 fans streaming through the doors. The Bulldogs men's program finished 2022-23 with an undefeated home record for the fourth time in program history and the first time since 1997-98. As a result of this success, ticket sales increased significantly over the 2021-22 season.

UNC Asheville Athletics is investing in the future of both basketball programs by adjusting ticket prices for the upcoming 2023-24 season. The increased cost represents the first increase in ticket prices since 2014-15. Unlike many schools across the country, there will be NO annual contribution to the Bulldog Athletic Association necessary to purchase season tickets. In addition, there will NOT be a reseating of Kimmel Arena so previous season ticket holders will be able to keep their same seats as in years past.

Basketball season tickets are on sale beginning today, Monday, July 10. Visit uncabulldogs.com and click on the Tickets link for updated pricing information and to purchase.
