Swimming & Diving Earns CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Honors for 21st Consecutive Semester

RICHMOND, Va. - The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) recently announced that the UNC Asheville swimming and diving team has earned Scholar All-America honors for their work in the classroom during the fall semester. The Bulldogs, who posted a team grade-point average of 3.55, have now earned this honor for 21 consecutive semesters.


Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the first organization of college coaches in America - is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level. Teams qualify for the Scholar All-America Team recognition if they have a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher for every student-athlete who competed in the designated semester.

Next up for the Bulldogs will be the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) Swimming & Diving Championships. The Championships will take place from February 15-18 at the Allan Jones Aquatic Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.
