CHARLOTTE, N.C. - UNC Asheville men's soccer had seven players earn Big South Conference All-Conference awards, released today (Friday, Nov. 3) by the league office. This marks the most All-Conference selections in a single season in program history.Â
Junior goalkeeper Charlie Farrar highlighted four Bulldogs earning First Team All-Conference honors, also being named Goalkeeper of the Year. This ties the most First Team All-Conference members Asheville has had in a single season (2001). Senior midfielder Brendan Herb, junior defender Myles Edmondson and junior midfielder Conor Behan all landed on the First Team, while senior defender Griffin Stidham and sophomore midfielder Sam Pitts-Eckersall were named to the Second Team. Midfielder Jack Steel was named to the All-Freshman Team, while Herb was also selected to the All-Academic Team.

This is his second career All-Conference honor. The Dublin, Republic of Ireland native is an environmental science major.
Edmondson has played and started in all 16 matches this season, recording three assists and helping anchor Asheville to three clean sheets on the back line.
