Stewart Patnaud, Charlie Farrar Earn Big South Conference Weekly Awards

FULL BIG SOUTH CONFERENCE RELEASE
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -Â UNC Asheville sophomore midfielder Stewart Patnaud and junior goalkeeper Charlie Farrar have earned weekly honors from the Big South Conference, announced by the league today (Monday, Oct. 30). Patnaud was named the Big South Offensive Player of the Week, while Farrar was named the Big South Defensive Player of the Week.
Patnaud played and started in both matches for Asheville last week, scoring a goal in the match against Furman on Oct. 24 while notching a goal and an assist in the crucial 3-1 win over Winthrop on Saturday (Oct. 28).
This is Patnaud's first career Player of the Week honor. He is a native of Cary, N.C.
Farrar came up big in Asheville's 3-1 win over Winthrop on Saturday, notching a career-high 10 saves in the victory that picked up three crucial standings points for the Bulldogs.
This is Farrar's first career Player of the Week honor. He is a native of Wakefield, U.K.
The Bulldogs (8-5-2, 3-2-1 Big South Conference) return to Greenwood Field for their final regular season contest on Wednesday (Nov. 1) to host USC Upstate in the latest installment of the Ingles I-26 Rivalry.
