Volleyball adds Avery Loeback to its recruiting class

ASHEVILLE, N.C.  – UNC Asheville Head Volleyball Coach Frederico Santos announced Tuesday the addition of Avery Loeback (Raleigh, N.C.) to his team's recruiting class. Loeback joins Lydia Pate, Lindsay Springer, Pelin Aksoy, Makenzi Searcy, Bahar Kurtulus, and Ryann Allison as the newest Bulldogs that will suit up for the Bulldogs in the fall. 
 
 Avery Loeback – Right-Side Hitter – 6-1 – Raleigh, N.C. (Millbrook HS)
  • Played for the Triangle Volleyball Club as a prep
  • Totaled 71 kills and 25 blocks as a senior
  • Attacked at a .240 clip in her final high school season
"Avery is a very talented athlete with a very high ceiling," said Santos. "She will add depth to the right side and will compete for a starting position. She brings excitement to the court and is a great team player."
