Four Bulldogs Men's Soccer Players Earn Postseason Honors

FULL BIG SOUTH CONFERENCE RELEASE
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Four UNC Asheville Men's Soccer players received postseason honors from the Big South Conference, announced by the league today (Friday, Nov. 4).
Freshman midfielder Sam Pitts-Eckersall was named to the All-Conference Second Team and to the All-Freshman Team, while junior midfielder Brendan Herb and redshirt freshman midfielder Sam Presser were both named All-Conference Honorable Mention and Presser was also named to the All-Freshman Team. Senior midfielder Andrew Rossetti was also named to the All-Academic Team.
Pitts-Eckersall played and started in 16 matches during his freshman campaign, leading the Bulldogs in goals (six) and points (12). His goal total was good for fifth individually in the Big South, while his point total was eighth amongst individuals.
Herb played and started in 16 matches this season for the Bulldogs, finishing with three goals and three assists for nine points. His goal total was second on the team, while his point total was third.
Presser played in 17 matches this season, making 13 starts. Presser totaled three goals and four assists for 10 points, ranking second on the team in goals and also second on the team in points while leading the team in helpers. Presser is also tied for eighth in the Big South Conference in assists and tied for 10th in points.
Rossetti appeared in five matches this season, making one start. In the classroom, the Raleigh, N.C. native is a Health & Wellness Promotion major with a minor in Management, sporting a 3.70 grade point average.
