Bulldogs to Host Charleston Southern in First Round of Hercules Tires Big South Championships

CHARLOTTE – UNC Asheville women's basketball will be the No. 6 seed and will host a first round game of the Hercules Tires Big South Championships versus the No. 11 seed Charleston Southern, Tuesday, March 10, inside Kimmel Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Tickets will be available for the First Round game beginning Sunday, March 8 at noon. Fans can purchase tickets online HERE, by calling (828) 258-7900 or by visiting the ticket office located inside Kimmel Arena. The ticket office will open at 9 a.m. Monday morning. Adult tickets are $10, while senior and faculty/staff are $8, and children (5-17) and student tickets are $5.
Season ticket holders will be required to purchase tickets, as the game serves as a Big South tournament game and not a regular home game.
The Bulldogs closed out the regular season with a 15-14 record overall and a record of 9-11 inside the Big South Conference. The Bulldogs have now finished the regular season with a winning record in each of the last five seasons.
The winner of Tuesday's game will advance to the quarterfinal round and will play Thursday, March 12, versus High Point at the Pod B location which will be hosted by Radford.
