Big South Announces Men’s Soccer 2021 Spring Schedule

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Big South Conference announced its 2021 spring men's soccer schedule will consist of eight matches scheduled from February 21-April 8. Teams will be permitted to play up to three non-conference/exhibition matches beginning on February 14.
Contingencies were built into the schedule to allow flexibility for completing the season in full. Each squad will have a floating mid-week match that will be scheduled during the first half of the season and no later than March 17. Matches scheduled for Sundays can be moved to the previous Friday/Saturday or the following Monday, if necessary.
Asheville will open Big South play by hosting Longwood on February 21. The Bulldogs will also welcome Winthrop (Feb. 28), USC Upstate (March 21), and Gardner-Webb (March 28) to town this spring. The road schedule for the Bulldogs will include trips to Campbell (March 7), Radford (Floating Mid-Week), Presbyterian (April 3), and High Point (April 8).
The Big South Men's Soccer Championship, which is scheduled to take place April 12-18, will consist of the top four teams in the league standings. All matches will be hosted by the higher seed team throughout. The champion receives the Big South's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
