More Information About Our Turn to Play 2019

Thank you again for accepting our invitation to attend the 2019 Our Turn to Play Luncheon on Wednesday, May 1. The luncheon is a celebration of Title IX which, among other things, allowed women to equally participate in college sports. The event also recognizes UNC Asheville Female Student-Athletes and their Coaches.

The event will be held at the Wilma M. Sherrill Center located at 1 University Heights Asheville NC 28804. Parking will be in the Sherrill Center Parking Deck. There will be student-athletes out in front of the Deck directing you. Additional Parking will be in P11 directly across the street from the Sherrill Center. Carpooling is recommended. A campus map is attached.
Check-in will begin promptly at 11:15 am on the Kimmel Concourse located through the main doors of the Sherrill Center. The program and lunch will begin promptly at 11:45 and will end at 1:00 pm. Â
If you have requested the vegetarian option for lunch, there will be a "red dot" on your name tag. There will be a red ribbon at a place sitting at your table indicating the vegetarian meal.Â
