Quotable
"This tournament is going to be awesome," UNC Asheville men's soccer head coach Mathes Mennell said. "First things first in College of Charleston. Ralph Lundy is an institution in college soccer, especially in the southeast. I've been very fortunate to be able to play against Coach (Ralph) Polson at Wofford and now Coach Lundy. I went to Coach Lundy's camps as a camper and then worked his camps. Now to play them in my role here, it's awesome. College of Charleston is a fantastic school and they've got a really great team. Coach Lundy's record of success speaks for itself. For us to be able to play each other at this event, it's going to be great. It should be a great game on Friday.

"Transitioning to UNCW, Coach (Aidan) Heaney's group is really, really good. He has done a great job for many years, so it's no surprise. In terms of this year, they're really good. We will certainly have our hands full with both opponents. It's a great opportunity for our guys. I thought we played really good against Georgia State. I don't ever want to be one of those coaches that notes that we lost but we were great, but anybody that watches the film against Georgia State knows we played well and just came up short. I like the way our group is going. I think we're rounding our way into a good run of things and that is exactly what is needed to compete in the Big South."
