03.04.2018 | Men's Soccer

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville men's soccer team held its annual alumni game on Sunday, March 4, at Greenwood Field.

It was a fantastic day for the celebration of the past, present and future of UNC Asheville men's soccer.

The final tally on the day was a 6-1 win for the current Bulldogs with goals from Taylor Durall, Luiz Felipe Dantas, Frank Morales (2), Elvis Wiredu and Michael Luke.

Paul Egle netted the goal for the alumni when he slotted home a shot off a nice feed from Jack Huber.

UNC Asheville will next compete in a spring tournament at the John B. Lewis Soccer Complex on Sunday, March 25 that features Lenoir-Rhyne, Tusculum and Wofford in addition to the Bulldogs (Tournament Full Schedule (PDF).

UNC Asheville will then face off against NC State on Saturday, April 7.

UNC Asheville men's soccer will close out their 2018 spring schedule by playing host to future Big South Conference rival USC Upstate at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11.
