"We are excited about the women's finish today, which was led by Clara Wincheski's top-50 school-record performance," UNC Asheville cross country coach Jesse Norman said. "All of the women had season-best performances for the 6k today, which is awesome given the conditions today. We felt like the men's team didn't have a great day outside of Zach Boone and Graham Parker. This performance gives us something to work on as we move into track season."

Bulldogs at Big South Championship
UNC Asheville men's and women's cross country for the second consecutive year both finished fourth at the Big South Cross Country Championship.

The UNC Asheville women finished fourth in the event presented by Musco Sports Lighting and UCS at the Ivey M. Redmon Sports Complex on Friday, Oct. 26, with a team average time of 19:45 in the 5K race.
