NORFOLK, Va. - For the 11th consecutive semester, the UNC Asheville swimming team earned College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team honors on Monday morning.

The 2017 fall team grade-point average (GPA) of 3.41 is the second-highest the program has ever earned," said head swimming coach Elizabeth Lykins. "We'd like to thank Rebecca Nelms, Assistant Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Success, and Erin Punter Spence, Assistant Director of Compliance and Student Services, for their assistance in helping keep the team members on track with their school work. The swimming staff is proud to have the team's efforts recognized by the CSCAA and our coaching peers."
