CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville men's and women's cross country teams were both honored with Big South Sportsmanship Awards for the 2016-17 season.
"This is really cool to be recognized among our conference peers," UNC Asheville cross country head coach Jesse Norman said. "This goes back to what Janet R. The Bulldogs finished off last season with the UNC Asheville men's cross country team finishing sixth at the 2016 Big South Cross Country Championship and the women finishing fifth at the championship hosted by the UNC Asheville athletics department at Asheville Christian Academy.
