BOONE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville men's and women's cross country teams opened the season in wet conditions at the Covered Bridge Open hosted by Appalachian State.
The UNC Asheville men's cross country finished the 8K Covered Bridge Open in seventh place as a team, while the women's cross country team at UNC Asheville came in ninth in the 5K. Florida State took home top team honors in the men's 8K and the women's 5K.
