TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – UNC Asheville volleyball head coach Frederico Santos and his team are extremely excited about the opportunity.
UNC Asheville (1-2) knows the competition at the Home2 Suites by Hilton Tallahassee Seminole Invitational is going to be strong, but they also know the weekend provides them with experiences that will prepare them greatly for Big South Conference play and beyond.
"I think obviously it's going to be a very enhancing experience for our athletes to play the type of competition we will this weekend," Santos said. "I think we're concerned about how we're going to do. We are not concerned with how good they are, or how bad they are."
On Friday, Sept. 1, Asheville will take on host and national No. 15 Florida State (1 p.m.) and Colorado State (6:30 p.m.).
On Saturday, Sept. 2, UNC Asheville will face off against TCU at 1 p.m.
