UNC Asheville Continues League Play On Road at Presbyterian College on Tuesday

CLINTON, S.C. – The UNC Asheville volleyball team will travel to Presbyterian College for a Big South Conference match on Tuesday, Oct. 17.
First serve in the league matchup between UNC Asheville (8-11, 4-4 Big South Conference) and Presbyterian (5-16, 2-6 Big South Conference) is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Templeton Center.
BULLDOG BITES
In the Big South Statistics Overall
UNC Asheville's Cara Guthrie is presently third in the Big South in points (4.23) and kills (3.74) per set. Ava Venema is currently seventh in the league in hitting percentage at .290. Three Bulldogs are presently among the top-10 in service aces with KK Haley (third – 0.41), Sheridan Salisbury (sixth – 0.35) and Guthrie (0.32) among the best in the league.
In the Conference Only Statistics
Cara Guthrie in league matches is leading the league in points per set at 4.60. She is third in the league in kills per set at 4.03. Guthrie is also 10th in the league in service aces at 0.32. UNC Asheville's KK Haley and Sheridan Salisbury are both tied for second in the category in league play at 0.45. Cecilia Stack is sixth in league matches with 0.84 blocks per set.
