Bulldog Swimming Closes Out Home Slate with Strong Performance Against Liberty

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's swimming team closed out the home portion of their 2016-17 season by celebrating Senior Day with a meet against Liberty, falling 153-104 to the Flames.
Skylar Rogan had another stellar performance as she took top honors in the 1000 yard freestyle and the 500 free. Adee Weller gave the Bulldogs a 1-2 finish in the 500 free by placing second and Morgan Rulevich took home first in the 100 yard breaststroke.
BULLDOG BITES
SKY(LAR) HIGH: Skylar Rogan's impressive streak continued Saturday as she took home top honors in both the 1000 yard freestyle and the 500 free. Her first-place effort in the 1000 free followed up a second-place effort in the same event against 34th-ranked Florida Gulf Coast prior to the winter break. She also claimed top honors in the 500 free after setting a personal best in the event at the meet against Florida Gulf Coast.
1-2 FINISH: Skylar Rogan and Adee Weller finished 1-2 in the 500 yard freestyle.

Before the conference meet, the Bulldogs will travel to Wilmington, N.C., where they will compete against UNC Wilmington and Gardner-Webb on Saturday, Jan. 21. The tri-meet will begin at 11 a.m.
